As well as practical conservation management of the trees, wild flower areas and other soft fruit bushes at the orchard, we’re making sure that the site is more accessible for you too!

With the help of the local community and councillors, we’ve created a new spur off path into the orchard to make it easier for you to venture inside! We have further plans to install a new gate and new sign for you, so you can wander the orchard with the all the inside information you need! You’ll learn about the background of the site, the tree varieties and wildlife you can see here and be able to map out the trees. Remember, it’s a community orchard, so please help yourself to the fruit!
